It should be kept in the refrigerator due to its moist and juicy texture. Kerman and Sistan Baluchestan provinces in the Southern areas of the Iran are the main suppliers of this kind of date.
Mazafati date is packed with group A and B vitamins, iron, phosphorus and potassium. It boosts energy, improves the function of muscles, treats constipation, controls stomach acid, contains natural sugars and is absolutely cholesterol free.
