Appearance: Light yellow to almost white.

Quality indicator: Three or four deep splits in the skin, revealing the bright seeds inside.

Expert tip: The larger and whiter the fig, and the deeper its splits, the more likely it is that the fruit came from an older tree grown in richer soil.

2. 41 Fig: The Smart Choice

If you want to enjoy high quality at a more affordable price, 41Fig is an excellent choice. In the market, it is known as “AA Ghoncheh”.

Difference from 101Fig: Although it is very delicious, its splits are not as deep as those of 101Fig, and it has less transparency.

3. Kharmani and Koluki Figs: From Convenience to Tradition

In this category, we come across two different types, each with its own story:

Kharmani Fig (AA Closed): Unlike its larger counterparts, this fig has a closed mouth. Although it is very good in quality, its lack of visible splits means it may attract less attention at first glance.
